Northwest Indivisible is a volunteer, grassroots organization committed to peacefully confronting the authoritarian overreach of the current regime.
Our mission is to raise awareness of these dangers and to protect, defend, and advance democracy through organized, nonviolent civil resistance.
Changing the world is possible.
We started Northwest Indivisible in response to Donald Trump transforming presidential authority into dictatorship through fascist tactics, including rejecting human rights, scapegoating, and weaponizing fear to erode democratic institutions.
We’ve instituted Rapid Response teams and Signal groups to help stay connected.
We need your help
Democracy is not inevitable. We must protect and defend it. We have a large group on our mailing list, but only a small handful of hands-on volunteers. We need YOU! Come on out to one of our actions, or talk to us about how you’d like to contribute. We’ll welcome you! Join us.
Dave Little has shared an activity he is working on to help pass the important Virginia redistricting election. He is working with the Center for Common Ground.
They have training slides and provide the process for guided phone banking. As you know, most people these days don’t answer calls from unknown numbers so phone banks usually leave voicemail messages. But a message in a sincere human voice does have an impact. The elections this year, especially the midterms, are going to be a serious battle. Contact us if you are interested in helping.
Join some on-going projects with us:
The Environmental Voter Project
is a non-partisan group that identifies millions of non-voting environmentalists and turns them into consistent voters. Our team member, Sabra Hull, is leading a project to work with them to help more generally impact the vote in swing states. We will be organizing many post card parties and other activities working on the EVP project. One of the fun things about working with EVP is that we then get a report on the voters we contacted to see if they voted! Who votes is public record. So, it will be a project with feedback on our impact! It should be rewarding. Contact us to join in!
Over-the-Freeway Bannering! We want to supplement our friends at the Olympia Visibility Brigade (OVB) with additional bannering. Join us:
Sundays, 1pm–3pm at the
Sleater-Kinney I-5 overpass
Bring LARGE signs, flags, costumes, and good spirits! If you’re interested in other dates, or want to help, contact us to join in!
Sign our petition. We want to collect at least a thousand signatures to Petition Congress to Defund ICE and investigate DHS leadership for crimes and violations against the people of the United States.
